About Sengdroma

Thank you for visiting the Sengdroma Farm Estate Blog. We are a small rural farm set in beautiful Prince Edward County Ontario.

The County is home to many delights including various artists, vineyards, restaurants and beaches not too mention so much more. No matter where you turn you will never cease to be amazed.

It is within this paradise that Sengdroma Farm Estate has been born. We are set high on a hill with 360 vista - the sun shows us when to rise and when to wind down. The road itself has been named to reflect the wonders that beheld the first United Empire Loyalists to settle the area. They rejoiced in the beauty that they found and gave thanks to God: Bethel Road was brought into being.

My family would agree with those early settlers, we too feel that we have been blessed. To awake each day to rabbits, deer, geese, bald eagles and to go to bed listening to the iconic calls of the coyote is indeed something special.

The name Sengdroma harks back to the ancient times of Tibet. To us this name was symbolic any farmer will tell you that the key to success is protecting one’s herd. Without the herd there is no farm. Then there was the Tibetan link Yak.

So there you have the background in a nut shell on the who, where and touching on the why.
