Sengdroma at the Royal Winter Show

We are pleased to announce that Sengdroma Farm Estate has a stand at the Royal Winter Show in Toronto.

This year we shall be show casing our Yak and Katahdin Sheep, with a dvd insight into the livestock management of Yak and postcard hand outs.

Everyone at Sengdroma Farm Estate looks forward to seeing you there.

Welcome to Sengdroma

Thank you for visiting Sengdroma Farm Estate.

We are a small family run farm currently going through the process of Organic Certification with Eco Cert. All hay and pasture seed is certified organic and is purchased through approved organically registered sites. We are proud life time members of the IYAK

We are located in Prince Edward County, Ontario; situated roughly 2 hours from Toronto, 3 hours from Ottawa and 4 hours from Montreal.

The land measures 40 acres in total with 30 acres workable and 8 acres ecologically protected wetlands and 2 acres of garden / farm house.

The farm was purchased in Feb 2008 with the intention of setting up a Yak and Reindeer Visitors Information Centre and breeding facility. As supporters of the ethical treatment of farm animals we embraced the decision to become organic. Our ideas have grown and we now have expanded the farm to include Katahdin Meat Sheep and rare breed pigs.

We currently sell lambs at market, however in Spring 2009 are operating a direct to buyer system. Future bulk buyers who have expressed an interest in our sheep and yak range from local bistros to Down Town Toronto Restaurants.

If you wish to express an interest in becoming an outlet for organically registered lamb and yak please contact carolinedraper@mac.com
